Socks in Your Hair? Say What?

     What an interesting name for a hairstyle….a sock bun? I know what you’re thinking; no one in their right mind would ever want to put a sock in their hair. But here’s the deal, the sock is clean when you put it in your hair so it’s not a big deal. Don’t let it freak you out. If you can’t get over how disgusting it is, I would advise you to buy a new pair of socks that haven’t ever been worn before. That’s much less creepy. But either way it’s really not that gross so I’m not even sure why I just spent that much time explaining it…ok let’s move on to how awesome this idea is!
      It really is so amazing. All I had to do was take a sock, cut the toe off of it, roll it into a donut, stick the sock at the end of my roommate’s ponytail and roll it up. Seriously, it only took 5 minutes to make the sock bun, and fix her hair with it. And it looked so cute!
      I was really proud of myself because I’m not normally very good at fixing hair, but the sock bun made it so simple. I was very pleasantly surprised. I think that anyone would be able to do this on their own. My roommate even liked it so much that she wore her hair like that today to school, she woke up this morning and fixed her hair all by herself. I was so proud!
      So I highly recommend this hairstyle for anyone who wants a really cute look in less than five minutes. Literally. It takes less than five minutes to throw your hair in a ponytail, and then roll the hair around the donut (aka the sock). I’d definitely rate this pin at a 7. 9 on a scale of 1 to 10. It is a very easy hairstyle to do, and it is so fast too! A 7.9 can be compared to a chocolate covered cinnamon bear. It’s delicious but it just doesn’t quite wow you enough to give it a 10 you know what I mean?
     Maybe not…maybe I’m just a super crazy person. That could be true, but either way chocolate covered cinnamon bears are delicious, and so is the sock bun! And I mean that in the least weird way possible, the sock doesn’t taste good but it looks great. So I encourage all of you to try it! And have a wonderful day! J
